Increase the usage of your databases twenty-fold

May 8, 2008
reprinted from The Sizzle - Gale's new blog

Gale is on a mission to double the usage of our databases within the next 12 months. One library, Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library in Florida, is making this wish come true. In fact, by adding a PowerSearch search box to their home page, they saw their usage increase by twenty times. Yes, that's right… twenty!

Because of this, we have created a new widget to allow you to add this search box easily. Simply visit this site below, enter your location ID (found at the end of the URL when you access our databases), and voila! - you instantly have the HTML code to add to your page to make a search box appear. You can customize the box as well to fit your website's color scheme.
